Our Values that make up Our World
Just like the 7 continents, we have 7 places you might find Little Big Detour from. Our content will be about Friendships, Adventure, Creativity, Laughter, Nature, Wonder, or Passion. Hopefully, each video we make will show multiple of these values. But these 7 aren't all of them. There is one more called Love. Love is the sea that connects everything. It is the most important factor that holds everything together (our secret ingredient).

Friendships
We have been each other's coworkers, bosses, teammates, and roommates. But most importantly, we are all friends. So, unfortunately for LBD, our friendship will always get put first. But this is how it needs to be, because the magic of LBD outflows from our authentic brotherly love for each other.
Adventure
If anyone we know were to list a couple of words to describe us as individuals or as a group, adventurous would rank at the very top. We all live for new, slightly scary, incredibly rewarding experiences. Adventure isn't just an add-on to life, but it is essential to our needs.
Creativity
Look around at this beautiful planet; visit a National Park, a coastline road, a grocery store sunset. All these spectacular scenes were painted by our Creator. Similarly, we were made by the same God. And our Creator created us to create. We are all artist, and it is one of our purposes to share art.
Laughter
LBD is constantly trying to spread joy through laughter because we believe it is powerful. If everyone just made a little more of an effort to smile and crack a dad joke, the world would be a better place. So, that's what we plan to do. Even if we don't agree or even like each other, we can still laugh together.
Nature
We love nature. The trees, the seas, the bees, the breeze, and everything in between. It is grounding, beautiful, powerful, peaceful, and where we belong. Humans are not built to spend the 95% of their lives inside (usually staring at a screen). We are made to be one with the natural world.
Wonder
There are a lot of questions we don't know the answer to. For example, when staring straight up at a 14,000-foot-tall mountain, we might wonder a lot of things. How is the world so big? Why are we so little? Do we even matter in comparison? This sense of wonder is healthy and humbling in all the right ways.
Passion
Without the drive to put in an unreasonable amount of work for a very long period of time, you end up living an ordinary life. And the truth is that there is nothing wrong with an ordinary life. But we were not wired to accept the ordinary. It is essential to us that we have an extraordinary existence.
Love
Above every other value or calling is love. We are called to love others by God, and that is what we plan to do. We won't always be perfect, but we believe everyone deserves love. So, we want to spread love to any stranger, family member, or friend we encounter. Love is always the answer.
